Coastal team placement

About the process

PYSA works with the Coastal League Competition Committee on team placements. It is the Board’s point of view that PYSA teams should be placed in the most competitive league as possible where teams and games are evenly matched.

If a team hasbeen placed inappropriately, the PYSA Board will work with the Coastal League Competition Committee to correct the placement between the Fall and Spring season.

By conducting evaluations, PYSA aims to have teams placed according to their competitive abilities. This helps ensure a positive game day experience for all players resulting in an increase in confidence, skills, and passion for the sport.
